The BPP Product & Technology (P&T) organisation is evolving rapidly, and driving transformation of its platforms, digital products, and experiences, in order to help BPP Education scale and meet the growth of the business in the coming years.


We are for looking for an experienced leader to help us build a team of Product Operations Managers to deliver experiences that delight and engage learners during their time studying with BPP and beyond, throughout their working lives.


As a Head of Product Operations, you will report to the Director of Product Management, and you will play a pivotal role in leading the operational readiness and go-live strategy for BPP Education's portfolio of digital products, platforms, and experiences.

You will be accountable for helping all areas of the business adopt new digital products and adapting their processes and ways of working to ensure BPP and its customers realise the greatest value from these new experiences.

You will work with the Product Management and Delivery functions to ensure product releases consider operational and market factors.


Collaborating closely with your peers in Product and Technology, you will help transform BPP Education to become more customer centred, design and data informed, to build products that meet and exceed our users' needs across our education ecosystem.

Essential Skills

  • Experience leading a digital product operations/change management team
  • Proven experience in a leadership role managing change at an agile organisation
  • Demonstrated experience with largescale change efforts
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire others
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and resilience in challenging situations
  • Deep understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fastpaced, highpressure environment
  • Comfortable coaching and mentoring others around managing change

Key Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities

  • Hire and manage a small Product Operations team, providing coaching and mentorship
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive change management strategies and plans around BPP's digital product portfolio
  • Lead product trials in production, inc. testing with users, gathering feedback, sharing learnings with product teams, ensuring readiness for larger rollouts
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders within Product and Technology to anticipate the operational impact of all elements of the product portfolio
  • Collaborate with the Head of Agile Delivery to integrate change management activities into release roadmaps
  • Collaborate with BPP administrative, operational and university departments to ensure operational readiness for adopting all elements of the product portfolio
  • Establish metrics for gauging operational readiness and change management success across the portfolio
  • Develop communication plans to share key messages with all relevant stakeholders and colleagues
  • Facilitate training programmes across teams to enhance the understanding and adoption of new products and initiatives. Ensure the right kind of documentation, user guides and knowledge base materials are available to support rollouts.
  • Be the goto expert on matters related to organisational readiness and change management; foster a culture of continuous improvement and change readiness throughout the organisation
