  • Housesitter for Dogs and other pets.


Are you passionate about dogs and looking for a rewarding opportunity to care for furry friend? I am seeking a reliable and responsible person to join the team as a house-sitter, specifically for looking after dogs but sometimes other pets may also live in the house.

If you have a car, a genuine love of dogs and are comfortable staying in customers' homes, this could be for you


IMPORTANT:

THIS JOB INVOLVES MOVING INTO OUR CUSTOMERS HOME TO CARE FOR THEIR PETS FOR THE DURATION OF THEIR HOLIDAY.

IT'S NOT POSSIBLE TO GO OUT TO ANOTHER JOB DURING THIS TIME BUT WOULD BE SUITABLE FOR SOMEONE THAT WORKS FROM HOME.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive care and attention to dogs while their owners are away.
  • Follow the instructions provided by pet owners regarding feeding, exercise, medication, and any other specific needs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for the dogs, including regular feeding, grooming, and walking.
  • Engage in playtime and provide affection to ensure the dogs' emotional wellbeing.
  • Keep an eye out for any sign of illness, discomfort, or unusual behaviour and promptly communicate with your manager or a vet if necessary.
  • Administer medications as instructed by pet owner, if required.
  • Ensure the security of the customer's home and property for the duration of the housesitting assignment.

Requirements:


  • Must have a valid driving licence and have access to a reliable car.
  • Genuine love and affection for dogs, with a strong understanding of their needs and behaviour.
  • Ability to handle dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
  • Previous experience of pet care/dog walking is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with pet owners and provide updates.
  • Responsible and trustworthy nature, as you will be staying in customers' homes during their absence.
  • Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, including weekends, holidays and longer stays.
  • Be happy to live alone while during assignments.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 0 -40 per week


Salary:
Up to £50.00 per day
