Job Description:

Home Instead South Manchester are recruiting in Didsbury, Chorlton, Urmston and surrounding areas.


Can you work weekends?
Are you available to work either: - 7.15am/8.30am - 2.30pm or 5.00pm pm (9.00pm would be your last visit and you would therefore finish at 10pm)

As a Care Professional, your role will include:

  • Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework.
  • Accompanying clients to appointments or shopping.
  • Personal Care supporting our clients with bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming to keep them healthy and independent their own home.
  • Companionship ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit.
  • Help with mobility around the home.
  • Overseeing medication and providing medical support.

You will benefit from:

  • Great rates of pay £ £13.00 per hour.
  • Paid DBS.
  • Paid Preemployment training (paid once after Induction).
  • Paid mileage of 35p per mile between calls and 45p per mile for travel during visits.

  • Up to £250 bonus Refer a Friend scheme.
  • Paid hours to complete nationally recognised Care Certificate and the opportunity to complete NVQs and other specialist training.

  • 24 hour oncall support, 365 days of the year. You are never on your own

Qualifications:

You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy, respectful and available to work at the times specified above. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable spending time in the company of others.

Previous experience not necessary as full training will be provided.
