OVERVIEW:
NPL is a new transport business Operating out of our East Sussex operating centre. Conducting deliveries through the UK and the home counties. Working within our group of companies and with our partners. Delivering Clean non-Hazardous product providing a tailored service for our clients and customers. NPL is looking for an experienced all-rounder who has the skill set to the business to the next level.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Main duties include but are not limited to - Maintaining security of load when loading
- transporting and delivering third party merchandise.

  • Carry out daily checks on vehicle and ancillary equipment.
  • Comply with legislation regarding vehicle safety, tachographs operation and working time.
  • Relay appropriate customer queries to depot staff as required.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company, providing high standard of customer care and being polite at all times.
  • Accurately complete all relevant paperwork
  • Assisting with administration duties as required
  • Other reasonable duties as requested
  • Flexable can do attitude.
  • Possible nights out.

Essential skills, knowledge &

experience

  • Minimum of a Category C Licence (Class 2)
  • Current Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
  • Current Driver Card (Digi Card)
  • Minimum of 3 years HGV Driving experience
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge if Driver hours/Record keeping.
