Sewell Wallis are currently working on behalf of a successful, well-known business based on the outskirts of York to recruit for an experienced AP Supervisor to join their team.

The role has arisen due to growth and the successful person will initiallyjoin on a temporary basis with the view for the position to transition to a permanent post within 3 months.

The role will report directly into the AP Manager and will involve managing 4 other members of staff.

The key responsibilities of the role will be:

Manage and support the members in the AP team
Ensure key accounts are uptodate
Manage internal escalation of queries and ensure that they are dealt with in a timely manner
Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues
Adhere to internal and external controls/policies and procedures
Analysis of the AP function to monitor accounts and identify risks
Manage internal projects as required
Adjust orders/processes as necessary to support the business
A strong background in AP

- have previously supervised or managed a small team
