About the Role
Salford City College have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed trainer/assessor to join our dynamic apprenticeship delivery team.
This permanent position is ideally suited to someone with a heating and ventilation industrial-commercial installation or planned and reactive maintenance background who wants to advance their career in a busy and supportive workplace.
As part of the building services engineering delivery team, you will work closely with colleagues, employers and apprentices to ensure that apprentices have an outstanding learning experience, successfully achieve their apprenticeship journey and advance within their chosen career.
The responsibilities of the job include meeting with stakeholders both virtually and in-person, providing relevant information and guidance on the apprenticeship journey, supporting apprentices to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours, undertaking site-based assessments, reviewing progress with employers and apprentices, maintaining accurate records, identifying new apprenticeship opportunities and helping the team to reach and exceed ambitious agreed targets.
