Our client is a progressive firm of accountants which specialises in the provision of accounting services to clients in the entertainment sector, particularly musicians.

Our client is situated in a highly sought-after location in the Spitalfields district of London, with Brick Lane on their doorstep and Liverpool Street station just a five minute walk away.

Due to rapid growth, they now have an opening for another Business Manager to join the team.

This is a highly rewarding role which will see you responsible for the day-to-day financial affairs of a portfolio of clients, ranging from newly signed music artiststo household names.

This is an extremely client facing role, where you will be regularly liaising with clients, booking agents, promoters, management companies, record labels etc.

Excellent communication skills are therefore essential, along with strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

Looking after a portfolio of touring and recording artists
Day to day bookkeeping and maintenance of sales and purchase ledgers
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Processing payment runs for clients once invoices have been approved by artist managemen
Preparation of tour accounts for submission to management and record labels
Review of tour budgets and commentary on changes
Preparation of annual financial statements
Rendering sales invoices for live shows and sending to promoters
Answering client queries
