Responsibilities:

As a Plant Operator you will have a hands-on role operating plant machinery (tele-handlers) and the AD plant process. a large part of the role is supporting plant maintenance, general upkeep and repairs.

Our operators will be essential for promoting good working practices and positive relations between staff, the local community and external regulatory bodies.

The AD (Anaerobic digestion) Plant includes a feed hopper, digesters, gas collection systems, a gas flare and a biogas engine along with a number of pumps and valves and SCADA monitoring equipment.

The plant operative will work in all areas of the operation assisting their colleagues where necessary.


Role includes:

• Operating mobile plant equipment (telehandler)
• Operate and use the plant's SCADA system to achieve key performance indicators.
• Oversee feedstock harvest/ sampling and sheeting
• Assist in plant housekeeping.
• Assist/supervise plant maintenance work and inspections to improve reliability.
• Participate in the development of risk assessments and method statements for the plant
• Track and report plant performance information.
• Ensure plant quality/ compliance standards and maintained
• Review and approve RAMS
• Issue permits for safe working systems
• Schedule and collect samples for analysis
• Complete inhouse biological testing
• Accidents reporting and investigation

Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
