We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Administrator to join a leading firm of financial advisors. You will be joining a dynamic, growing team based in the Middlesbrough area.


Details of the role:


Working out of our clients offices based in Middlesbrough you will be supporting the Financial Advisers and team members in carrying out various tasks to ensure advice for clients is of the highest quality and delivered in an efficient manner.


We are looking for a confident, customer focused, switched-on individual who has the drive to exceed expectations and deliver a high level of professionalism.

You will be primarily involved with multiple client's and business focussed administration activities.


Responsibilities of the role:


  • Preparation of client files for Adviser Meetings
  • Answering the telephone, taking messages and referring or helping where possible
  • Greeting visitors to the office and taking relevant information
  • Day to day operational and administrative duties to support the business including responsibility for office tidiness and stationery/stock levels
  • Work closely with the PA to the Director to ensure business administration tasks are completed timeously.
  • Dealing with post and distributing
  • Accurate completion and maintenance of the internal customer relationship management system
  • Liaising with adviser and clients to ensure excellent service is delivered
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and third parties
  • Be aware and act upon any compliance, risk and quality issues
  • Provide holiday cover for both the Senior Administrator and the Pensions and Investment Administrator (full training will be given)

Key skills and Knowledge:


  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a Financial Institution is desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft Office specifically Excel /Word
  • Conscientious and organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with an eye for detail
  • Great numerical aptitude
  • Ability to work to set deadlines
  • Excellent customer service/ ability to build rapport and manage client relationships
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Keen to keep up to date with FCA regulations and internal policies and procedures.

Job Types:

Salary:
£18,500.00-£22,000.00 per year
