Job description
We are seeking a Clinical Engineering MESU Team Leader to play a key role in providing medical device management across Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
If you have extensive technical experience in medical devices and experience with people management, this role is for you.Were also looking for someone with great organisational skills, combined with great attention to detail, to make a real difference in this rewarding opportunity.
As part of one of the UKs largest and busiest NHS trusts, youll work on a wide variety of medical devices alongside healthcare professionals from multiple specialties, directly contributing to a high standard of equipment management provision.
Youll join the Medical Equipment Services Unit (MESU) - a large technical and busy team within one of the countrys largest Clinical Engineering Departments.
This will give you access to extensive support, resources and expertise; youll have everything you need to grow, thrive, and make a meaningful impact in this challenging and exciting role.

Appointment would be made with expected progression against agreed milestones, this will be under Annex 21 as defined in the Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions of Employment.
Pay and milestones underpinning such an appointment will be discussed with the successful candidate by the appointing manager.
We are looking for a Clinical Engineering MESU Team Leader to provide expert equipment management services and to manage a busy technical team at our CITY campus and ensure the safe and effective management of people and medical devices management.
You will bring extensive technical expertise in medical devices, including their use, repair, maintenance, and management within a healthcare setting.
Your experience will also include working closely with healthcare professionals in clinical environments, communicating with them and ensuring that we provide the best service possible.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the staff within the team and to support them and ensure they can deliver a high level of technical support to clinical colleagues.
You will act as a technical lead for the team reporting to senior management on performance and providing advice and guidance.
