The Role:


This is a unique role which could suit someone looking to progress to the next level but fed up with the constraints of corporate life and commuting.

We are seeking a highly motivated Sponsorship Sales person to join our team.

The individual needs to be able to build strong and professional business relationships with existing and potential customers, to drive revenue through the sale of sponsorship andexhibition stands for both in person and digital events as well as for our podcast series.


You will be comfortable tailoring sponsorship packages to suit the needs of your customers from table-top exhibition packages to multi event, lead sponsorship packages.

You will be encouraged to seek out new commercial opportunities and products which willallow us to add to our portfolio.

Our brand is widely regarded as a leader in its niche within the life science/healthcare community, organising events which bring together leading figures from the scientific research community, healthcare, pharmaceutical and technology sectors.

Workingalongside a small team you will be expected to makes connections via social media (mainly Linkedin, and telesales/zoom activity) but will also be expected to attend events to help build your profile and that of the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new customers and closing new business to hit sales targets.
  • Manage and grow the company's existing clients.
  • Negotiating and maximising the potential of all sales transactions.
  • Input into the events content and format, ensuring they stay relevant to the clients and organisations we serve.
  • Being an ambassador for our company, maintaining high personal standards and levels of customer service.
  • Building strong market knowledge through monitoring websites, reading publications, speaking to customers, attending events, etc.

What's Required to Succeed:

  • Must be creative; offers a fresh perspective and new ideas. We very much encourage new ideas and will give our full support to commercially viable projects.
  • Strong selfstarter with exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
  • A minimum of 3years sales experience within sponsorship and /or delegate sales.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), judgement and listening skills.
We are not looking for an order taker, this is about outbound and inbound sales.


Job Types:
Full-time, Self employed/Freelance


Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000 basic per year + uncapped and highly attractive commission yr 1 should provide a minimum of £60K Attractive holiday allowance

All of our team work from home. This is a 100% work from home role. Although there is the opportunity to spend 2 days a week in our Surrey office if you prefer.
