Social Care Worker


As a dedicated social care worker your role is to bring exceptional, person-centred care and support directly to individuals within the comfort of their own homes.

Your role is far more than a job; it's a heartfelt commitment to delivering care that is outcome-driven and involves sensitivity, profound respect, and dedication to safeguarding the individuals you will be supporting.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Medication Administration
  • Assist individuals with medication management and maintaining accurate records.


  • Personal Care

  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, toileting, and dressing.


  • Meal Preparation

  • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and preferences and assist with feeding when necessary.
  • Social and Emotional Support
  • Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging with the people we support in meaningful activities and conversations.


  • Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided, daily observations, and any changes in individuals conditions.


  • Dignity and Respect

  • Ensure that all interactions with the individuals are conducted with the utmost respect, preserving their dignity, privacy, and choice.


  • Independence and Empowerment

  • Promote and support individuals in maintaining their independence and selfesteem.
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor and report changes in individuals' health or wellbeing to the care manager or healthcare professionals to ensure the holistic wellbeing of the individuals we support.

Essential Requirements:


  • Valid driving licence and a vehicle
  • Previous experience in domiciliary care or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Desirable Requirements:


  • NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards).
