An exciting opportunity has arisen within Curriculum Services and we are seeking to appoint a motivated and knowledgeable individual to the role of Curriculum Approval and Management Systems Coordinator.


The Team:


The Role:


As the Curriculum Approval and Management Systems Coordinator you will act as the key contact between the University and Worktribe, our curriculum approval and management system (CAMS) supplier.

CAMS holds critical curriculum information about our units and programmes that can be accessed by colleagues across the University.

It is our job within Curriculum Services, along with colleagues in Academic Collaboration, to maintain CAMS as an accurate and definitive source of curriculum.


You will support in further developing and refining CAMS, exploring how we can fully utilise automated workflows to increase our efficiency.

You will work with colleagues across the University to increase the awareness of CAMS, by providing training and information sessions.

You work will closely with both the Curriculum Approval Manager and the Curriculum Data Manager to address all reporting requirements from CAMS, whilst ensuring that they are complimentary and can work alongside our student record system, which also holds curriculum data that can be reported from.


Please note that it is expected that all colleagues carry out cross-team and directorate work as and when required, such as supporting with graduations, student enrolment and clearing.


About you:


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has well-developed knowledge and experience of how curriculum systems operate.
  • Has a highlevel of data literacy and reporting capabilities, utilising standard reporting software, such as Microsoft Power BI.
  • Has the ability to plan for the short, medium and long term, to successfully achieve ambitions targets.
  • Can present articulately to a range of audiences.
