Description


The post holder will play a significant role in the Network team to develop and deliver our newly piloting primary care network leadership development offer.

The role will;

  • Lead on the programme management for the delivery of a newly launched South East leadership development programme, involves collation of evaluation information and supplier and stakeholder management.
  • Utilises policy implementation products from the Network such as its briefings, articles, roundtables and consultation responses, working closely with the Confed policy team, within the leadership product / content design.
  • Source and create learning content in the form of case studies, to ensure that the leadership development offer delivered by LSBU has clear and sufficient NHS Confed valueadd. Further detail below.
  • Support the development of further offers by contributing to a needs analysis aimed to support NHS Confed to identify future delivery opportunities for leadership and organisational development.
  • Conduct market research around organisational and leadership development within primary care, gathering the views of members, facilitating the sharing of best practice.
  • Support with the running of the Confed leadership design group
  • Ensures connectivity and links in relevant content from the NHS's core policy work programme, and wider stakeholders to ensure the primary care voice within the leadership development offer connects to system level conversations or lobbying activity aspart of the organisation's integrated member offer.

Profile

  • Knowledge of NHS and wider health and care policy
  • Knowledge and understanding of the implementation of national health policy in operational setting
  • Understanding around change and transformation
  • Experience of leveraging influential and senior stakeholders
  • Using programme or project management approaches
  • Experience with designing or delivering organisational or leadership development interventions
  • Excellent analysis skills that cut through complexity, provide insight and craft solutions to complex organisational problems
  • Ability to write accessible and compelling and influential narratives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including being personally credible and influential with senior stakeholders with the ability to make a compelling case for change and write persuasively with a wide range of external audiences
  • Strong team player, able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively manage a mixed portfolio of policy work, ensuring it is relevant to members, timely and of a high quality.
  • Ability to be responsive and agile in a rapidly changing environment
