Description

Julian House is a charity dedicated to making a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society.


Role:
We offer a 9-bed supported housing project in Bath for Adults with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

Commissioned through Virgin Care, this service offers support to encourage and enables residents to move towards independent living by improving life skills and working with other agencies such as social services and state specialist services e.g.

B&NES & Bristol Autism Advice Service (BAAS) to ensure the right package of care and support is in place, at the right level.

Hot dinners and baked goods are often prepared by our wonderful volunteers. Start times are flexible but dinner must be ready by 5pm to fit in with our client's routine.


What you will be doing:
Preparing a meal for our residents
Washing up and tidying afterwards
Serving food and chatting to our residents
Understanding the principles of food hygiene

All our volunteers will receive full induction and training to the role.
