We are looking to recruit a Field Care Supervisor to join our growing team based in Tameside. This fantastic opportunity will both challenge you and will require you to use and develop your leadership skills.

In this key role you will be part of the management team to guide, mentor and train our team of care assistants.

You will also be monitoring the quality of care provided to our clients.

What is the role of a Field Care Supervisor?

  • To carry out needs assessments and risk assessments for new clients with regular monitoring and reviews of care plans.
  • To motivate and build the team with ongoing mentoring, supervisions and training needs of all care assistants.
  • To be part of the oncall team in case of an emergency / out of office hours.
  • To maintain close liaison with the Registered Manager. Field Care Supervisor is responsible for the efficient running of their own specific, defined areas and should vary their hours of work in order to effectively monitor and support all care assistants and clients. This will include time on the rota completing care calls and supporting care assistants.
Person Specification — Essential Criteria

  • Experience in working in a Health and Social Care environment
  • Achieved NVQ level 3 or above in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this
  • Full, valid driving licence and access to a car
  • Selfmotivated, organised and flexible to work requirements and changing needs
  • Friendly, caring and sensitive to the needs of others
  • A good leader and mentor
  • An active team player but also able to work on own initiative
  • A good listener and communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • A good problem solver
  • Capable of accepting responsibility and coping with emergencies
  • Good computer skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Salary:
£10.00-£12.00 per hour
