    Description
    We're hiring a reliable Technical SEO Specialist to perform recurring audits and fix common technical issues on WordPress sites.

    The work is steady and process-driven — we'll give you detailed checklists and templates for every task. You'll focus on keeping websites fast, crawlable, and technically healthy each week.

    This role does not involve keyword research, backlinks, or content writing. It's strictly technical. We care about consistency, attention to detail, and clear written communication.

    Start immediately — first assignments available this week.

    Responsibilities


    • Technical Audits (per new website)
    Run a full site audit using Screaming Frog or a similar crawler.

    Identify redirect chains, broken links, and crawl errors.

    Check sitemap, , canonical tags, SSL, and site speed.

    Record all findings and fixes in our shared audit sheet.


    • Fix Implementation
    Implement fixes directly in WordPress/Elementor (redirects, caching, image optimization, plugin cleanup).

    Improve Core Web Vitals and mobile speed scores.

    Verify each fix before marking it complete.


    • Weekly Maintenance
    Re-run key health checks (speed, indexing, 404s).

    Keep audit sheet updated.

    Flag new issues for our team to review.


    • Reporting
    Maintain our internal audit sheet (main record of work).


    Prepare a short monthly summary (3–5 bullet points + 1–2 screenshots) explaining what was fixed or improved in plain English.

    Communicate updates clearly and on time.

    Google PageSpeed Insights / Lighthouse / GTmetrix

    WordPress / Elementor

    (We don't use Ahrefs or Semrush for this role.)

    Requirements

    Proven experience auditing and fixing WordPress websites.

    Strong written English for clear reporting.

    Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.

    Available to start within 48 hours.

    Can complete a full audit within 3–4 days of assignment.

    Engagement Details

    Ongoing work: 5–10 new sites per month + weekly checks for active clients.

    Typical workload:
    ~10–12 hours per new site, then 1–2 hours per week for maintenance.

    Rate:
    $6–$10/hour, depending on experience and turnaround speed.

    Long-term work available if quality and communication are consistent.
