DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- _
Sourcing equipment, lead time and cost from approved and one-off suppliers

  • Management of just in time ordering stratergy
  • Management and replenishment of stock levels in stores and mobile fleet in SaaS management software
  • Raising purchase orders against correct cost centre
  • Ordering equipment against purchase order numbers
  • Preparation of job packs, collating orders from different suppliers, ready for engineer collection
  • Management or returns process including returning and chasing credit notes
  • Being reactive to assist our growing engineering team as and when needed whether that is in person in the office or over the phone.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy stores area including the management of correctly recycling relevant items to ensure we continue our sustainability journey within the industry.
  • Ability to work effectively on projects and seeking support where needed from relevant team members to ensure the project is delivered in a timely and effective way
  • Supporting the wider team with their supply chain needs
  • Supporting coordination team with creating, dispatching, closing and scheduling jobs for fieldbased team
  • Management of fleet and assets including compliance reminders

  • PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs

  • Experience in an office and or warehouse based environment
  • Fire and security industry knowledge beneficial but not mandatory

Salary:
£20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Birmingham, B46 2HH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Supply chain: 1 year (preferred)
  • Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
  • Working in office enviroment: 1 year (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office programs: 1 year (preferred)
