Job Title:
Business Support Administrator


Schedule:37.5 hours Monday-Friday


Pay Grade:
iFM Grade C £21,317-£22,427 (pending pay review)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Administrator to join our team on a Permanent basis.

This position is well-suited to enthusiastic and organised individual, ideally with previous experience of providing administrative support to a team within a busy office.


Job Role:


  • Reception duties and answering the telephone. Deal with visitors and contractors to iFM Bolton reception, in a professional and courteous manner, dealing with queries, redirecting to the relevant person, taking messages, issuing keys, etc.
  • Financial: use Integra, to raise requisitions, GRN orders, check invoices, etc. (training will be provided).
  • Secretarial: type documents, diary management, make appointments, arrange meetings, prepare and circulate meeting paperwork. Take minutes/notes of meetings if required. (minute training will be provided).
  • Create and maintaining filing systems both paper based and electronic.
  • Data collection and maintaining data monitoring systems using the relevant systems and software.
  • Liaise with internal and external departments, suppliers, contractors, etc.
  • Ordering and maintaining stock, including stationary, office supplies, general goods, equipment, etc.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:


  • Education to GCSE level or equivalent as a minimum (inc Math and English).
  • Good keyboard skills.
  • Experience of working within an office environment, and able to assist with arranging meetings, managing diaries and raising purchase orders.
  • Able to work on own initiative and with the minimum of supervision.
  • To be able to prioritise work and resolve conflicting schedules and deadlines.
