PROJECT SUPPORT VOLUNTEER - LONDONLondon Based
Voluntary, 8 hours per day, 1-3 days per week

User Voice exists to reduce offending by presenting the voice of the most marginalised people in and around the Criminal Justice System to decision makers.
Founded by Mark Johnson, award-winning social entrepreneur and author of his best-selling memoir Wasted, User Voice is an organisation led and delivered by ex-offenders.
User Voice delivers a service user-led rehabilitation experience to assist people caught up in the Criminal Justice System find a path to successful living; better criminal justice services and institutions; and policy change that will mainstream the inclusion of the user voice.
We require forward-thinking volunteers who are enthusiastic and motivated to use their IT skills and knowledge to support the work of User Voice's and its involvement in issues affecting people involved in the Criminal Justice System.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to gain knowledge on the Criminal Justice System and develop skills and experience while being involved with an innovative charity.
Role and responsibilities
Project Support Volunteers will initially work from our London office in Vauxhall, supporting the administrative side of our project delivery across the country.
You will be supporting several different projects in prison and the community and will have the opportunity to work on individual and group projects to support User Voice's development.
For volunteers with lived experience of the criminal justice system, there may also be opportunities to work out in the field, supporting our engagement teams.
We are looking for volunteers who believe in User Voice's mission and are happy to dedicate 1-3 days a week to assist with exciting and innovative projects that are fueled by data and will make a massive difference to the lives of people in the criminal justice system.
