Overview
A leading business within the Engineering industry both in the UK and Internationally are currently seeking an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager on a permanent basis.
This role provides the job holder with the opportunity to over see the EHS of the entire Sheffield site.
Main Duties of the Environment, Health and Safety (
EHS) Manager:
- Management of site EHS to ensure the plant and personnel meet all requirements with regard to Environmental, Safety, Health & Welfare legislation and organisational standards.
- Design and perform internal audits of the quality and Environmental systems and lead the ISO 9001/14001/45001 system to ensure zero nonconformances in 3rd Party Audits
- Monitor Supplier KPI's in relation to quality, quantity, delivery, and price.
- Monitor Supplier KPI's in relation to quality, quantity, delivery, and price.
- Manage all aspects of ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO4500
- Document controller for QEHS Management system.
- Prepare reports by collecting, interpreting, analysing and summarizing data and making recommendations
- Ensure compliance to specified quality requirements by performing inhouse and supplier audits and surveys, as well as leading programmes to improve supplier performance through actions and daily interactions
- Ensure the plant and personnel meet all Customer requirements regarding quality, including the supply of documentation, information and aftersales care.
- Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders both within the business and external to the business
- Champion management of change to ensure all necessary risk mitigation is in place before commissioning
- Managing Customer Concerns (queries, complaints, requests)
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience of the Environment, Health and Safety (
EHS) Manager:
- NEBOSH in Safety or equivalent certificate
With ideally a minimum of3 years direct vocational experience.
- Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001 & 14001.
