Description
Reed Accountancy are supporting a business based in Cannock and assisting with their search to appoint an Accounts Payable Clerk on a Temporary basis the role is ongoing and could potentially go permanent.
The Accounts Payable Clerk will receive an hourlyrate of £10 - £12 per hour depending on experience.Accounts Payable Clerk duties:
- Ownership and maintenance of purchase ledger
- Daily processing and validation of invoices
- Ensure all invoicing are authorised on time in accordance with business SLA
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Payment runs
- Management of supplier queries
- Update cash book transactions from bank statements
- Month end routine and close off
- Adhoc cover for goods in inspection reports, expense processing, transactional analysis
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer accounting software systems
- Experienced in processing and maintaining entries in accounts payable and general ledgers
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent levels of numeracy and attention to detail
- Well organised and ability to work using own initiative and strong motivation to complete tasks
