About You

***You will have a PhD in an area of Modern German Studies, or a cognate discipline.

You will have experience in teaching both Cultural Studies and German language at UG level.

You will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues in the delivery of language teaching.


About the Department

***German Studies at Warwick is part of the School of Modern Languages and Cultures. We are a vibrant and energetic section, teaching all areas of German culture, literature and history from the late 18th century to the present, with a focus on literature and film. The collegium incudes two professors, one Reader, four associate professors, as well as two Teaching Fellows and a DAAD-Lektor/in. We offer students a varied and challenging program that includes a residence abroad in a German speaking country.
