About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and energised individual who wants to become part of the Contracts & Wordings team.

In this role, you will be both drafting and reviewing Swiss Re Corporate Solutions' insurance contracts and any other legal document issued or signed by Underwriters and Client Managers to ensure they adhere to Swiss Re's standards and guidelines.

You will also be the port of call for legal and contractual advice to your stakeholders acting as true consultant for your network.

You will be predominantly supporting the UK market, within the EMEA team however, you will have the opportunity to work for and learn from other markets.

We are looking for a professional who
- has a legal background
- has at least 3 years' experience in the (re)insurance industry
- is comfortable with following legal trends in the industry
- is fluent in English, other languages such as French would be a plus
- is keen to learn more about insurance
- is eager to contribute to digital transformation projects
- is articulate and can communicate clearly and confidently
- enjoys explaining difficult legal concepts in a language the stakeholders can understand
- has good analytics skills but is balanced and pragmatic when taking decision showing a commercial mindset
- has a way with people and is able to build relationships with key stakeholders.

About the Team
We are an international team of Contracts Specialists spread across the world.

The team is part of the global Contracts function and embedded in the Chief Underwriting Office division of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions.

Contracts EMEA is comprised of six Contracts Specialists based in different EMEA countries advising internal clients on insurance wordings and clauses for both domestic and international insurance written in the main EMEA markets.

Contracts EMEA contributes to setting best practices and standards to ensure Corporate Solutions' contracts quality.
