Shire Healthcare are currently sourcing a Speech and Language Therapist for one of our clients based in Bristol.

The successful Speech and Language Therapist will join a specialist school supporting children and young people aged 7-19 with complex communication needs and associated diffiulties.

This is a full-time, permanent position at 40 hours per week and term-time only.

The role:

Completing baseline communication assessments
Planning and implementing speech and language therapy programmes for individuals
Running or supervising social communication groups for students
Reviewing outcomes and modifying therapy programmes
Delivering training to the wider education team in relation to speech and language therapy

The ideal Speech and Language Therapist:

Holds a relevant Degree/Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
HCPC registered
A minimum of 2 years' postgraduate experience
Experience of working with children or young people with autism/learning disabilities
