Do you have logistics / transport administration OR strong administration experience? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? Are you a strong communicator? Then this role could be perfect for you, working as a Despatch Coordinator you will becomean integral part of the business, ensuring the smooth running of the business.
The main role and responsibilities of the Despatch Coordinator will include, but no limited to;
- Assess and collate the days shipments and prioritise for the shop floor team which orders are to be packed in the correct order to ensure the loads are ready to go when transport arrives
- Produce electronic manifests where required using the information supplied from the packing notes to enable the shipping company
- Organise and produce shipper labels
- Input orders onto the database and create invoices
- Communicate with a number of external transport companies and obtain quotations for express shipments
- Communicate, coordinate and plan with the internal sales team

- Good organisational skills
