Successful owner-managed Business based in Waterlooville, Hampshire, has an excellent opportunity for a Financial Controller to undertake a newly created position to work with the Senior Management Team in assisting and supporting the business as it entersa new phase of growth and expansion.


What will the Financial Controller role involve?
Reporting to the Managing Director, the key responsibilities of the Financial Controller position will include:

  • Development of effective monthly management reporting and implementation of KPI's;
  • Production of all financial month end reporting;
  • Provision of detailed analysis to fully understand business performance and any variances to budget;
  • Review of internal controls and processes, including reporting systems, recommending and driving through the necessary changes required to increase efficiency and accuracy of the information produced;
  • Preparation of all statutory returns including VAT;
  • Ad hoc project work as and when required to support business decision making.
  • Applicants will have previous experience of working within a similar position within another SME business and be capable of being hands on and undertaking all aspects of accounting whilst also supporting the Managing Director in commercial business decisionmaking if required.
