The Company

The Role


As TIG Welder, you join a small team and will be required to carry out thin gauge (0.7) TIG welding work to mainly stainless steel and some titanium products for use in the Aerospace sector.


Person Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years TIG Welding experience
  • Experienced in thin gauge TIG welding
  • Materials worked with: Stainless Steel a must, titanium would be advantageous
  • Experienced working with a rotary table would he advantageous
  • The ability to read engineering drawings
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude with good attention to detail.
  • Good eyesight is required for this role due to the nature of the thin gauge work
  • Must be able to work under your own initiative, but also to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out thin gauge TIG welding duties to company products/equipment as directed by the Welding Supervisor.
  • Ensure that the company's procedures are followed.
  • Participate in the quality control process relevant to the work carried out and ensure all defective work is immediately brought to the attention of the Welding Supervisor.
  • Ensure workmanship is always to the highest standards.
  • To ensure that all work undertaken is completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Comply with the company health and safety policy.

Working Hours:

39hrs per week

Monday - Thursday - 7:15am - 16:15pm

Friday 7:15am - 12:15pm
