Interim Finance Manager | Healthcare Non-Profit Organisation | Southwest London


Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with an Independent Non-Profit Organisation specialising in healthcare, supporting them with their search for an Interim Finance Manager to join their team in Southwest London.

Operating for over 50 years, the organisationstrives to enhance the quality of life for older people by providing supported independent living, companionship, and social interaction to diminish the effects of loneliness and isolation.


They have a very warm, relaxed culture here and are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to come in to add to this, where they can hit the ground running to support on several exciting projects in the next 6-9 months during their exciting phase ofgrowth.


The Role:


Working alongside another experienced Finance Manager, you will be responsible for heading up the Finance and Admin department playing a key role in the upgrade of the financial management and reporting systems to operate in a more complex, growing environment.

You will be responsible for management of financial processes, reporting to trustees and management of the junior members of the finance and admin department, where you will be expected to achieve accurate and full compliance with all financial proceduresaccurately and within set timetables

This role is a full-time fixed term contract position lasting 6-9 months depending on start date.


Key Responsibilities:


  • All accounting including management and reporting to trustees
  • Management of financial processes including supplier payments, bank reconciliations, payroll, billing, collections
  • Cash management, forecasting and budgeting
  • Line management of Finance and Admin department
  • Responsible for managing residential and commercial tenancies and leases
  • Managing housing benefit accounts queries and reconciliations
  • Management of EPOS system
  • Responding to resident queries
  • Work collaboratively with our finance and office teams

What We Need to See (Essential Skills):

  • Qualified or Part-Qualified ACCA / CIMA / CIMA
  • Previous experience working in Healthcare / Charity sector or similar
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Good allrounder, proactive, team player

What We Would Like to See (Bonus Skills):

  • Knowledge of Sage 200/MS Dynamics
  • Line management experience

Contract Length:6-9 months


Start Date:
ASAP (maximum 1 month notice period)


Salary:
£40,000 - £50,000 pro rata


Location:
Southwest London / Hybrid
