About the Job

_ Recra are working in partnership with a multisite Recycling specialist, who are seeking an experienced and driven Maintenance coordinator to join their thriving buisness._

_Monday - Friday 8-5_

Role and Responsibilities:

This role is to support the Maintenance department.

It entails working in conjunction with the Management Team (but reporting to Operations Managers) to continuously develop the company's planned maintenance and administrational function (which covers health, safety, environmental, HR and maintenance provisions).


Within the job role there will be a range of varied tasks which include (but not exhaustive):

  • Maintaining the company asset database with respect to raising and closing of work orders;
  • Working in conjunction with the MRF Maintenance Supervisor to control site maintenance stock management including allocation, issuing and replenishment;
  • Auditing company equipment files including MRF, MHE & Facilities;
  • To work in conjunction with the MRF Maintenance Supervisor in the control of maintenance and site service subcontractors with regards to scheduling, booking in, completion of inductions and ensuring paperwork is processed in line with the maintenance strategy;
  • To work in conjunction with the MRF Maintenance Supervisor, Operations Manager and Materials Handling Engineer to ensure that job allocation and part requests are processed in an efficient manner;
  • Processing of Purchase Orders, Invoices and Credit Notes in line with operational needs whilst adhering to company deadlines;
  • Inputting of holidays to the holiday planner and Computer Maintenance System to ensure correct allocation of both holidays and work;
  • Word processing, preparation of Health & Safety documents;
  • Coordination of meetings and supporting documentation;
  • Maintaining company documentation, including inputting data, keeping records and producing reports as required;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures;
  • Understand the need to keep business related information confidential;
  • Carry out other tasks and duties as required;

Essential Skills:


  • Excellent Organisational Skills and Attention to Detail.
  • Good Telephone Manner Required.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook and other computer based programmes.
  • Previous technical maintenance experience required
