Role Overview


Savills Country Department is looking to recruit a Senior Prime Country Sales Director to cover Hampshire, the majority of Wiltshire and West Berkshire, working alongside our regional offices in Winchester, Newbury, Salisbury and Farnham.


Savills Country Department is a centre of excellence for prime country house sales with a clear goal and strategy for retaining Savills market leading position for prime sales across the UK.

Each director within the department benefits from a level of independence commensurate with the seniority of the position alongside an exceptional level of support from the wider Savills teams and network.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with the Country Department and regional teams across the South and South West, spending time working from the local offices within the region and from head office in London (minimum of one day per week).
  • Writing the framework of the Country Department business plan, develop and deliver a strategic growth plan for the Hants/Wilts/West Berks prime market in collaboration with the heads of cluster and heads of office
  • Generate pitches across the region, attend pitches together with local office pitchers and win instructions on the best possible terms
  • Give best advice to clients at all times in a professional and enthusiastic manner and deliver a first class service to all Savills customers. Be a Savills ambassador.
  • Ensure that the department's instructions are marketed and sold with maximum professionalism and efficiency
  • Manage Savills database of buyers, participate in call outs, generate viewings, conduct viewings and handle negotiations
  • Meet Country Department sales targets and operational goals, adhering to Savills business guidelines
  • Writing sales particulars and assist with marketing
  • Seek and produce referral opportunities for the wider Savills business
  • Keep up to date with trends in the local residential property market and be a spokesperson for the region and department
  • Maintain and present market share information
  • Assist with the management of less experienced team members where necessary
  • Follow Health and Safety procedures at all times
  • Organise and/or attend networking events and opportunities across the Hants/Wilts/West Berks region and in London.
