Position - Project ManagerLocation - Office based Ipswich
Hours - 7.30am - 5.00pm
Salary - 45k/55k Dependent on experience
Due to continued success and growth, our client EPPH is now looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of a project from design to customer delivery including quotation; product engineering; logistics; installation and commissioning.
The role
Offer technical support to engineers and customers to determine the project specification
Mechanical Knowledge of Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation & AC systems, Excellent Communication / Negotiation Skills
Team Player Proactive Approach Ability to work extended hour / weekends, as required
Proven track record of delivering 2-3 projects concurrently.

- Health and Safety management trained including CDM experience.
- Microsoft experience user
- Commercial awareness

- Taking control of the project finance, ensuring improvement can be achieved wherever possible but never to the detriment of the project quality.
- Knowledge of products, services and equipment associated with the mechanical, electrical and construction trades.
- Knowledge of suppliers associated with the supply of materials and equipment to mechanical, electrical and construction trades.
- Knowledge of the construction industry and potential client base.
- Overseeing overlapping projects to ensure costs, quality and programme remain in line with forecasts.
- Compiling bids for work.
- Calculating the cost of materials, transport, labor and equipment hire.
- Obtaining quotes for all predicted requirements from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Variation management.
- Clarifying the client's needs, compiling and submitting tender returns.
- Reading plans, taking measurements and quantities.
- Use of relevant computer software such as Excel and Word.
- Labour planning.
- Financial forecasting and reporting.
- Assessing and adhering to all risk assessments and health and safety requirements.
- Chairing / attending meetings.
- Liaising with others including project managers, suppliers, planners and design teams.
- Presenting bids to clients and / or their representatives.
- Completing work quality submissions.
- Generation of case studies for future marketing.
- Minimum 57 years' experience in Contract Management
