Description

We continue to partner with a large multi-site food manufacturer and are supporting them to find a Financial Accountant to join their team at their site in Essex.

On offer:

A salary of £50,000 to £55,000 depending on experience
33 days holiday
Company pension
Hybrid with up to two days a week WFH

The role:

Reporting to the Finance Controller the responsibilities of the Financial Account is the following:

Reviewing monthly management accounts with completion within deadline
Year end closing in line with business requirements and legislation
Communication with auditors and tax consultants for annual audit and tax returns
Treasury and financing
Contacts with banks and authorities
Implementing corporate rules
Working closely with Finance Controller on projects
Qualified ACA/ACCA with post qualified experience of at least 3 years
Practice background with one of the top 10 audit firms in the UK

Experience in

Tax and legislation, auditing, producing budgets and forecasting, month end management and analytical reviews
Good working knowledge of Microsoft apps
Office and Excel
Good communication both written and verbal
