Description
Duties:
- Constructing and repairing brick or stone structures such as walls, chimneys, and walkways
- Mixing mortar and spreading it onto bricks or stones
- Aligning and leveling bricks or stones using various tools
- Cutting bricks or stones to fit specific dimensions
- Collaborating with other construction professionals to complete projects on time
Experience:
- Previous experience as a brick mason or similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of different bricklaying techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Proficiency in using bricklaying tools such as trowels, levels, and chisels
- Strong attention to detail and precision in bricklaying work
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions
Note:
Experience as a carpenter, roofer, or welder may be considered relevant for this position as it involves similar skills and knowledge.
Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 4 months
Salary:
£200.00-£220.00 per day
