The Role:
This Flood and Water Management officer role is a two-year contract.

The successful applicant will be leading on the investigation of flooding incidents across the county including liaising with the public and elected members, co-ordination with internal departments and liaison with external bodies to log, map and investigate flood incidents across Hampshire.- You will also be involved in a wider range of technical, management and administrative activities including provision of Flood Risk Management guidance, Flood Alleviation Schemes, Ordinary Watercourse consenting and enforcement, and assisting in the mentoring of more junior team members.

This is a busy, varied and interesting role within a small, hard-working team of professionals who are passionate about mitigating the effects of climate change and reducing the risk of flooding across Hampshire
