This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 3 days minimum per week in the office.- HarbourVest is seeking to hire an Associate Product Specialist to work exclusively with the firm's private equity evergreen solution.

- The role will sit within the Private Client Group (PCG) in London, and report to the Vice President Product Specialist- As an Associate, this individual will be expected to play a supporting role in strategy development, content creation, and client/prospect engagement for the firm's private equity evergreen solution- Highly passionate and motivated (a self-starter)- Excited by the opportunity to work across multiple teams and with different levels of seniority, and handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment- A team player and someone who has the desire to work in a team environment, often under pressure- Interested in product management and development- Entrepreneurial and possesses the ability to "see the bigger picture"- Interested in private equity evergreen solutions

What you will do:

The Associate will support the Vice President Product Specialist on all aspects of product management including, but not limited to, supporting client's and prospect's due diligence requests and coordinate investor queries; performing in‐depth competitive analysis; supporting product development efforts; supporting all aspects of creating and maintaining investment marketing materials (presentation decks, FAQ, DDQ, monthly factsheet and monthly report); create content for thought leadership pieces, external webcasts and teachins
The Associate will work closely with the Marketing team, Sales Enablement team, Client Services team, Investment teams and other firm wide functions across all seniority to win new clients and service existing clients
The Associate will support the Vice President Product Specialist in developing procedures to improve the efficiency of the RFP process, as well as the quality and clarity of RFP submissions
This individual will also work closely with the Investment and Investor Relations teams and will seek to support the Vice President Product Specialist to optimally position the private equity evergreen platform with HarbourVest's existing clients, prospective clients and the consultant community
Relationship management skills are a must as the Product Specialist will need to partner closely with fellow HarbourVest investment and capital raising professionals, as well as externally with LPs and Consultants.

Experience:

3-5 Years experience in alternative investment, institutional or private wealth, financial sales and service, or product specialist types of roles (Associate level)
