We're looking to hire on behalf of our client an experienced Vehicle System Fitter.They are on the lookout for dedicated, reliable, and passionate individuals to join their mission, to reduce global CO2 emissions and waste.
You'll be working in the concrete industry so experience in the field is desirable.Type:
Full time - Permanent
Salary:
£30,000 - £40,000
Shift and
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, with Saturdays as overtime. Adapting around our Customers' needs with a flexible approach
Some of the responsibilities are:
Installation:
- Efficiently fit Cloud Cycle devices onto Ready Mix Concrete Trucks.
- Fix the system to the trucks
- Install sensors in the hydraulic system
- Modify water pipework
- Connect to the truck battery for power and run cables to the outlying components
- Install software upgrades and validate that the system is live post installation.

Maintenance & Repair:
Promptly attend to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and replace or upgrade equipment whilst on site.
3.
Reporting:
After each job, complete detailed reports supported by digital images and provide recommendations for improvements or necessary changes.
4.
Travel:
Regularly travel to concrete batch plants as part of the job responsibilities, both within your region and in support of colleagues in other regions as necessary.
Other Duties:
Assist in data collection campaigns on site, setting up, assisting with testing and breaking down.
Requirements:
The ideal Vehicle System Fitter attributes:
- Experience: Proven experience in commercial vehicle fitting, construction plant hydraulic fitting, or agricultural equipment is essential. You may have built, serviced or maintained vehicles or fitted aftermarket systems. You will have worked in the field on customer sites.
- Teamwork: Working mostly on your own within your region, team up with colleagues for support with bigger installation programmes. Enjoy the full support of the back office support team
- Record Keeping: Keep good logs of site visits and equipment utilised.
- Professionalism: High standards of professionalism and courtesy when dealing with customers and operators whilst. Observing local site rules will build enduring and mutually rewarding relationships consistent with Cloud Cycle's ethos.
- Driving Licence: Must possess a full UK driving licence as a van will be essential to the role.
