Commercial Heating Mate/Trainee.
Job Details:
Redbridge & Sons Property Services are recruiting for the position of a Commercial Heating Mate/Trainee to join our expanding workforce and be part of the company's commercial heating team and be an integral part of the company's future development.
You will be expected to:
- Work in commercial plant rooms or large residential accommodation with communal heating systems. (Gas boilers & Commercial Air Source Heat Pumps)
- Coordinating with lead engineers and subcontractors on various projects and supporting the team in the delivery of new largescale installations.
- Support in setting up sites with the project manager and Team.
- Removal of existing infrastructure and recycling materials where possible.
- Installation of new press fit/soldered pipework and services to the new heat source.
- Final preparation of the plant room including painting walls and floors as required.
- Maintaining a safe working site and adhering to all health and safety procedures.
- Tasks as required or instructed by the team leader or project manager.
- Some domestic installation work, Gas & ASHP's, heat emitters.
The training you will receive and long term objectives:
- As the successful applicant, you will undertake on the job training initially to gain knowledge and hands on experience.
- Future training plans will be designed around the workloads and aptitude of the successful applicant.
- Long term objectives are to become a commercial mate, being able to work to design drawings and install commercial plant rooms alongside a senior team leader. Once completed you would be issued with a van and tools and be able to work independently.

Working Week:
40 Hours per week. (Full time position)
Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm with 1/2 hour for lunch.
NOTE:
This job role involves
Working Away from home from Monday to Friday, close to the area of work, staying in a local hotel.
Salary:
£12.50 to £14.00 per hour depending on experience + expenses.
