Description
Kettle Home Ltd is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join our team. The Transport Co-ordinator(s) have the responsibility of planning and despatching all outbound orders received by the company. The Transport Co-ordinator(s) also have the responsibility of ensuring all inbound containers are collected within agreed timescales.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Utilise the current fleet to route each order for delivery, ensuring the most costeffective method is used.
  • Ensure all routed orders, where required, are booked in and confirmed with the customer.
  • Arrange collections of customer goods, ensuring the most costeffective method used.
  • Notify Customer Service or the appropriate account handler of any reported delivery issues.
  • Liase with the Warehouse Manager to agree if any additions to the daily workload can be achieved.
  • Confirm despatch of all outbound deliveries.
  • Produce driver delivery paperwork/ set up drivers PDA's.
  • When all deliveries are routed/planned produce Warehouse Picking/Loading
documents

  • Respond to customer queries in a timely manner.
  • Deal with Internal Sales, Accounts and Customer Services queries.
  • Answer internal and external calls.
  • Process courier collections.
  • Upload deliveries and collection details into Routing system.
Invoice processing.


Required Skills and Experience:


  • Good spoken and written communication skills.
  • A professional manner.
  • Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel).
  • The ability to work well in a busy environment and make key decisions.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 27.5 per week


Salary:
£11.25 per hour

Expected hours: 27.5 per week
