Group FP&A Reporting Manager | 6 Months | Central London | £450-£550/day
Altum Consulting are pleased to be supporting a well-known international and Private Equity backed retail business to recruit an interim Group FP&A Reporting Manager to support the business in a period of growth and transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and be responsible to produce the monthly trading report accurately with relevant commercial commentary, presenting to the board, CFO, and senior department heads.
- Manage a team of up to 4 qualified and part qualified reporting accountants and analysts, striving for excellent delivery and the highest standards and quality of work.
- Sign off and deliver monthly group accounts consolidations, assessing (and delivering feedback where necessary) the value adds to internal and external stakeholders.
- Alongside your team, present the weekly, monthly, and quarterly stores, wholesale and ecommerce performance reporting at a UK and Global level.
- Consolidate trading management information packs and deliver concise analysis, summary, and reporting across the business in the 'Trading Report.'
- Partner closely with department heads to ensure all information conveyed is meaningful, providing relevant commentary and instruction aligned to the group deliverables for each region. (Group Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, New Business, FP&A and PrivateEquity partners; EMEA, US, APAC, and UK & Middle East).
- Have an entrepreneurial approach to the meaning and understanding of regional business drivers and KPI's aligned with group and business expansion plans.
- Demonstrate maturity across forecast and budgeting, showing an understanding of how this impacts wider business deliverables. This will include working closely with investor relations, business growth, supply chain and finance to align on policy and 35yrplan deliverables.
- Liaise closely with group, external and audit finance partners to ensure delivery of accurate and profiled data/reports for your team's workflow.
- Deliver accurate and trackable process notes whilst supporting the delivery of new accounting standards and process improvement projects within your team.
- Familiarise yourself with the group accounting policies set by the business and relevant standards to add value across reporting and communication with the wider business.
Key Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA Qualified
- 4+ Years PQE
- Immediately available for work, or on a notice period of no more than 2 weeks
- Experience in a retail, consumer, ecommerce or FMCG business preferable but not essential
- Be a confident and capable written and verbal communicator
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft skills]
- Defined experience leading a team of at least 2 people
- Have prior experience building credible relationships with senior stakeholders
- Prior experience using Microsoft Dynamics, D365 or other ERP systems preferred
