Description

Cover Crew Ltd are currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist - Horizontal Borer for their Aberdeen based client.

Duties:
Set up material as per tooling sheet and program instructions.

Ensure correct programs are selected.

Machine parts as per customer drawings and instructions.

Ensure all handover notes are completed for opposite shift with relevant information.

Ensure dimensions are checked, verified when required and recorded on dimensional reports and signed.

Update all tooling sheets with current information.

Participate in Root Cause Analysis as and when required.

Assist in training and development of Production Machinists and Apprentices.

Experience:
Time served with HNC/C&G or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Horizontal Borer experience.

CNC control experience (Heidenhain, Fanuc, G&L 8000)
