BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - THAMES DITTON - C£45K PLUS MONTHLY CAR ALLOWANCE

My client is an independent services company specialising in vehicle management based in Thames Ditton.

They are an established and forward thinking company who have this great opportunity within their data optimisation team due to growth.


In this role you will be selling bespoke fleet management solutions, products and services across a broad range of industries and sectors along with meeting monthly and annual sales targets.


Accountabilities:


  • To understand, develop and maintain my client's values and mission philosophy
  • To achieve the annually agreed sales level target set by the BDD
  • Build and deliver for sign off a business plan that will meet and exceed the set annual targets
  • To develop relationships with prospects that match my client's profile in order to create an opportunity pipeline to meet or exceed targets
  • Manage and own prospect pipeline from inception of phone call to a prospect or appointment through to opportunity and eventual closure of either won or lost
  • Develop strategies to successfully take opportunities through to successful conclusion
  • Create and execute high quality bid responses to prospect, framework and OJEU opportunities
  • Create and execute high quality proposals and presentations
  • Lead internal briefings on opportunities to seek the support of the internal business
  • Lead bid opportunities in conjunction with the BDD/Bid Writer and/or wider business
  • To lead pricing proposals for prospects within authorised limits and seek sign off as and when required
  • Utilise Head Office prospect visits with a view to enhancing the chances of successfully converting the prospect as a client
  • Complete the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in a timely and accurate manner
  • Complete reports in a timely fashion to a high quality standard of accuracy
  • To forecast, monitor and evaluate sales performance against agreed key performance indicators, to be agreed with BDD
  • Contribute and share in team meetings
  • Make suggestions and implement changes to improve the overall department quality and efficiencies
  • Plan your weekly activity to help prioritise the tasks that need to be completed in order to successfully achieve the objectives for that week, accurately and on time
  • Attendance of external events such as exhibitions to represent my client and develop relationships with prospects
  • Lead and carry out implementation plans to transition new prospect wins into the account management team in a timely fashion and ensuring attention to detail in communicating the needs of the client into workable processes
