Golang Technical Lead

Manchester, UK (Hybrid Working - 2 Days Onsite)

£65,000 to £75,000 + Benefits.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Golang Technical Lead, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute both your technical expertise and leadership skills to our development team

Your responsibilities will include:
- echnical Guidance (80%):Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to the development team. Review code, conduct design sessions, and ensure best practices are followed. Share your knowledge and expertise to elevate the skills of your colleagues.

Collaboration:Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver highquality software products. Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Innovation: Stay uptodate with the latest developments in Golang and related technologies. Identify opportunities to incorporate new tools, libraries, and practices that enhance our software development process.

Qualifications:

Proven leadership skills with a track record of guiding and mentoring development teams.
Solid understanding of software architecture principles and patterns.
Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with microservices architecture is a plus.
Excellent problemsolving abilities and a proactive attitude.
Effective communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Our office is conveniently located in Manchester, UK.

We offer a hybrid working model, where you'll be expected to work onsite 2 days a week, allowing you to collaborate with the team and enjoy face-to-face interactions.

The remaining days can be spent working remotely.
