Brighouse on a
full time, permanent basis.


Myers Building & Timber Supplies has 16 branches throughout Yorkshire and is part of the family-owned Myers Group. We are looking to recruit a motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our committed and experienced team supplying a whole range of building materials including kitchens and bathrooms. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Using a CAD automated system design and prepare kitchen and/or bathroom plans to a professional standard, giving practice and technical advice where necessary.
  • Identify business opportunities by engaging with prospects and evaluating their requirements by researching and analysing sales options.
  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, researching, and recommending product where required.
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking stateoftheart practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Attend meetings and group discussions where required
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by the Company from time to time, as instructed by or under the direction of your immediate supervisor

Skills and Attributes

  • Must be PC literate and able to use a CAD automated design system.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight schedules.
  • A professional attitude and demeanour.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Dispute resolution
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be selfmotivated, have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to solve problems at source.
  • Must possess excellent organisational skills and good time management.
  • Must be selfdriven, genuine with a positive attitude and clear focus.
  • Must be sufficiently mobile and flexible to work beyond the call of duty to achieve results
