A global biotech company is seeking an experienced Interim AR Clerk to join their team in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

As an Interim AR Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the accounting department, focusing on accounts receivable and billing processes.

This is a full-time contract position with an expected hourly rate of £16 - £18.


Job Duties:


  • Process credit notes, rebills, and sales ledger invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts receivable transactions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all financial transactions
  • Generate reports on accounts receivable activity and outstanding balances
  • Support the finance team with any adhoc tasks or projects

Required Qualifications:


  • Prior experience in accounts receivable or billing
  • AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification or equivalent

Experience:


  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or billing

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and principles
  • Proficient in processing credit notes, rebills, and sales ledger invoices
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting software and systems
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
