As the Lighting HOD you will be responsible for the running of the lighting elements of the show as well as integration with the Audio and Visual departments of the project.

Manage all aspects of the onsite lighting system
Work jointly with all internal departments to ensure a high level of customer service.
Use of the show console to run the show
Ensure that Solotech standards are respected (cables, connectors, packaging, etc.).
Maintain the lighting rig and all equipment
Where needed assist with other Solotech onsite departments.
Communicate with the Live Production team for long term maintenance.
Work jointly with the Live Production and Client Production's head to ensure that show consumables are stocked

Qualifications:

Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or proven work experience.

Experience

Have at least 5 years of proven lighting work experience within the live events industry
Climbing
Intermediate to expert technical knowledge of lighting equipment
General technical knowledge in sound, video & rigging
