The Role:

This is an exciting generalist role that will provide exposure to a wide range of HR activities.

We are looking for a confident self-starter who can provide support across the business on a range of employment related topics.

There is a key focus on managing the recruitment life cycle to enable Serif to attract the best skills to ensure the ongoing success of the business through its people.


Main areas of responsibility include:


  • Provide HR advice and support on a broad range of employment related issues
  • Ownership of the full recruitment cycle
  • Management of HR and payroll administration
  • Attendance monitoring and reporting
  • Staff training and development

Requirements:


  • At least 3 years' experience in a generalist HR & recruitment role, ideally within an SME but not essential
  • Ideally part CIPD qualified and of graduate calibre
  • Previous experience of specialist recruitment in the technology industry would be advantageous
  • High degree of confidentiality and professionalism (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills and credibility to deal with people at all levels within the business
  • Proactive and positive approach
  • Good organisational and planning skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and multitask
  • Proficient in Excel

Please note that applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and live within a commuter distance of Nottingham. Hybrid working is available whereby up to 40% of the week can be worked from home.

£30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
