Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity, to promote and develop clinical excellence within the IDD Day Services teams (Holly Lodge, Horizon and Heather Close)to enhance the mental and emotional well-being of people with learning disability, people with Autism and or both who have complex needs, who may find it difficult to access other alternative mainstream Day Service, or opportunities across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, through sound evidence-based approaches?

NHCT are looking for the right person to join the team and be responsible for leading, monitoring and evaluating care being delivered for each individual and support the team to develop their clinical excellence.

You will have the passion and commitment for people with learning disability, people with Autism and/or both, that focuses on the individuals:

  • strengths, choices, assets, and goals through person centred planning.
- quality of life outcomes that people who use Day services and their carers wish to achieve
- access to a range of opportunities in the wider, and their own, community as an active and equal participant.
- skills development, learning and improving independence in daily living i.e. travel training, and employment where possible
- improved health and wellbeing.


You will provide and have oversight of clinical supervision, appraisal and clinical leadership for the Day Services teams and contribute to ongoing service development, working collaboratively with the operational leads to ensure the smooth day to day running of the Day Service.


This role requires excellent communication, managerial, leadership and interpersonal skills with a good understanding of how Day Services impact positively on the lives of people who attend the Day Service.
