Description

This is an opportunity to join a specialist eCommerce website developer and system integrator providing eCommerce, software development, marketing and technology services.

We are looking for a person to join our IT team who can specialise in supporting ourinfrastructure development, based in Leicester city centre with hybrid working.

This position offers hybrid working but ability to attend Leicester office for meetings & workshops as required is expected.
You will be responsible for

  • Support and day to day management of colocation data centre operations
  • Support of Cloud based solutions deployed across AWS, Digital Ocean, Azure
  • Designing, planning and improving infrastructure
  • Assessing current systems to secure best practise
  • Troubleshooting and monitoring system performance
  • Integrating and leading programs across the business
  • Managing the host environment, capacity, system performance and servers, as well as recommending required upgrades
  • Managing data security of computer systems to comply with GDPR
  • Sharing knowledge across the business
  • Management of hardware
Skills required

  • Previous experience in an Infrastructure role


  • Operating systems

  • Windows | Linux (CentOS) | RedHat


  • Virtualization

  • Xen, VMWare, HyperV
  • Active Directory


  • Databases

  • SQL server
  • Cloud: Azure, AWS


  • Firewall

  • Cisco ASA Firewalls


  • Certifications

  • CCNA | Agile Foundation | ITIL 4 Framework |
  • Proficient understanding of system admin and how hardware and technologies work
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws
  • Project management, problem solving and analytical skills
