IP Solutions Engineer

We are seeking an IP Solutions Engineer to join our Integrated Networks team in Crawley, UK.

You will provide technical and equipment expertise to support Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Account Directors on delivering world-class events and projects.

Your responsibilities include assisting in the selection and configuration of equipment, services, and systems that meet Creative Technology's high standards and client expectations.

Effective communication of technical information and proposing well-thought-out solutions are crucial for this role. The ability to explain complex principles to clients without a technical background is also essential.

We are at the forefront of delivering IP workflows for uncompressed video and audio transport at live events, utilizing SMPTE-2110 technologies and protocols. The successful candidate must stay up-to-date with these technologies, having a deep understanding of SMPTE-2110 and network architecture, including IP infrastructure, virtual machines, Docker environments, monitoring systems, and SND orchestration.

In-depth knowledge of video and audio technology within broadcast or live event workflows is also important due to the use of SMPTE-2110 as a broadcast standard.

This role involves working on multiple projects simultaneously, some of which may require on-site presence. You will be responsible for documenting systems and instructions, training staff, and providing remote support.
